The opening ceremony of the construction of a full profile motorway took place on October 6, 2008. The Phase 2A construction works should be finished in 41 months. The four-lane motorway will not only make the journey more comfortable to the users, but will also considerably enhance the road safety level.

More >>Bina-Istra, the Istrian Y Motorway concessionaire, signed on November 30, 2007 a syndicated loan contract worth 693.5 million euro by which the company refinanced the 210 million euro worth bonds issued in February 2003, and a commercial loan in the amount of 58 MEUR, as well as ensured a stand-by credit facility aimed at upgrading the Istrian Y into a four-lane motorway.
